Small Steps, Big Leaps: The Summer Bridge Journey
Is your little learner ready for the big stage? The Summer Bridge Program is specifically crafted for children transitioning from VPK to Kindergarten. We focus on turning “emerging” skills into “confident” ones through high-energy, early literacy support. Give your child the head start they deserve so they can walk into their first day of Kindergarten ready to read, lead, and succeed.

Get ready for a summer of discovery! Designed for students entering Grades 1–3, Summer Pathways is all about turning “unfinished learning” into new breakthroughs. We’re bridging the gap in Math and Reading while fueling curiosity through hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) challenges. It’s the perfect blend of academic preparation and creative problem-solving to ensure your child starts the new school year with confidence.

From recreational sports and creative arts to team-building challenges, our school-site camps offer a secure environment where students can play, learn, and grow all summer long.

Our Summer Driver’s Ed program is your one-stop shop for obtaining your driver’s license. Master the rules of the road and essential driving skills through interactive classroom sessions. Then, put theory into practice with our experienced instructors during on-site driving range exercises. By the end of the summer, you’ll be confident, prepared, and ready to cruise towards your driving independence!

Whether you’re aiming for a top-tier scholarship or just want to boost your confidence before test day, Gemini acts as your personal 24/7 tutor to help you master the Math, Reading, and Writing sections of the digital SAT.
How to Get Started
Follow these simple steps to launch your SAT prep journey:

Log In: Head to gemini.google.com.

Sign In: Click “Sign In” and use your M-DCPS Student Credentials (e.g.,
StudentID@students.dadeschools.net). -
Verify: Look for the M-DCPS logo or a shield icon in the corner to ensure you are using your protected school account.

Start Prepping: Type the following prompt into the chat box to begin:
“I want to take a full-length SAT practice test.”

Analyze: After finishing, ask Gemini, “Can you explain the questions I got wrong and create a custom study plan for me?”
Online Learning Portfolio
All M-DCPS students will have access to individualized educational digital resources and tools through the student portal by clicking on the login now button. The Online Learning Portfolio will host a variety of online applications and games for students to access 24/7 from any place with Internet connectivity. These resources will allow students in grades Pre-K thru 12 to practice and apply what they learned during the school year and to explore new things. Content within the Online Learning Portfolio will include district-licensed applications, free open resources, as well as new resources made available exclusively for Summer 2026. Specialized resources for students with disabilities who access learning through modified curriculum will be provided.
Algebra 1 EOC Prep
Home Connections
Students who passed the Algebra course but did not pass/take the Algebra I EOC will have access to Algebra I practice through Math Nation. The online practice can be accessed through the student portal by clicking on the login now button and will be available throughout the summer to prepare for the Summer Algebra I EOC Administration.
